SUMMER 2024 SELF-PACED VIRTUAL PROGRAM
We are excited to announce the Three Branches Institute, a free, virtual professional development workshop designed for history, social studies, and civics teachers. This self-paced program is a collaborative effort between the United States Capitol Historical Society, White House Historical Association, Supreme Court Historical Society, and the National Archives and Records Administration.
- Access to the self-paced program materials will be available on Friday, July 15, and remain open through September 15 for participants wishing to receive a certificate or letter of professional development hours.
The Three Branches Institute offers a comprehensive history, government, and civics-focused professional development opportunity. Participants will explore the people, events, and processes that shape the three branches of government in the United States.
- Unique Content and Perspectives: Engage with lectures and presentations from education specialists representing our partner organizations.
- Educational Resources: Access a wide range of free educational materials for classroom and personal use.
- Professional Development Certification: Participants wishing to receive a certificate or letter of professional development hours must complete the program by September 15, 2024.
